[Act 2:1-4 CSB]
1 When the day of Pentecost had arrived, they were all together in one place.
2 Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying.
3 They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and rested on each one of them.
4 Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them.
This is what Jesus talked about – “Holy Spirit is coming”
Promise: Power . . . truth
Baptism = filled
Result – 1. Supernatural sign (tongues) 2. Supernatural understanding of truth.
“And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all people; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
Truth: The miracles Jesus did on earth he did as a man — filled with the Holy Spirit. That same Spirit is what we are filled with.
Action: Ask to be filled (baptized) with the Holy Spirit.
