[Rev 21:3 NKJV]
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them [and be] their God.
I was taught in church that if I accept Jesus as my savior I will go to heaven when I die.
Heaven was “up there” somewhere.
Sitting on clouds playing harps with the angels.
Revelation: Standing around God’s throne with the angels & living creatures.
For eternity. Sounds not very exciting . . . but better than the alternative.
Kat Kerr (and others) — heaven is an adventure. Creativity. Beauty. Infinite variety and new things to discover.
But God’s ultimate plan is for heaven to come to earth.
A NEW EARTH.
But he is coming to live with us: God’s home is now with his people.
Truth: God’s desire is to be with us. Forever!
That was his original intent when he created Adam. RELATIONSHIP
Action: Set God at the center of your life.
Don’t put him “first.”
He is already in you through the Holy Spirit.
We will be with him forever — in heaven and on the new earth.
Your eternal life has already started.
Your future is better than you ever imagined.
